Will it fit my calipers?

Yes. The plates telescope from 1.88" to 3.03" and the box includes two plate sizes, so it covers most single, twin and quad piston calipers, floating or fixed. No special adapters, no proprietary parts. Slide the plates in, squeeze, done.

Is it strong enough for stubborn pistons?

The plates are 1/8" steel and the ratchet drive is steel through and through. A healthy piston walks back a click at a time under even pressure. If a piston is truly seized or the slider pins are frozen, that caliper needs a rebuild, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a miracle.

Will it work on my rear calipers?

Front calipers and rear calipers that push straight in, yes. Many rear calipers with the parking brake built in need the piston WOUND back with a cube tool, and some newer cars with electronic parking brakes need service mode first. We would rather tell you that here than in a return label.

Won't it cock or damage the piston?

No. That is the whole point. The plate covers the full piston face, so the pressure lands square and every piston on that side moves together, instead of one point of one piston tipping sideways and dragging its seal the way a C-clamp does.

Do I need to do anything before pressing?

Crack the master cylinder reservoir cap so the brake fluid has somewhere to go, and keep an eye on the level as you press. Squeeze a click at a time, drop the new pads in, then flip the switch and the plates back off.

How long will it last?

It's made from heavy-duty steel for daily shop and garage use, with no batteries and no electronics. Treat it like a real tool, not a gimmick, and it'll outlast the cheap stuff you'd otherwise buy twice.
